Please notice this is A Chaucer library and not THE Chaucer Library. It is not to be compared to the Folger Library since there isn’t anything comparable in the world of Chaucer. And if you want to visit original manuscripts or editions published before 1550, go to the Huntington Library to see the Ellesmere; go to the Bodleian or the British Library.  This is not an exhaustive Chaucer site but merely a listing and description of what is in my Chaucer library with a focus on the lost, abandoned, forgotten, and neglected editions, adaptations, and modernizations of Chaucer.
